  • Strategic partners to Meghalaya Basin Management Authority (MBMA), GoM for Design and Development of Cluster Development Program in 47 blocks over next 5 years.
    • Design and Development of Pineapple & Ginger Cluster, Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya with MIG as the Implementing partner.
    • Design and Development of Ginger & Pineapple Cluster, Umpden, West Khasi Hills, Meghalaya with NSS as the Implementing partner.
    • Design and Development of Cashew cluster, North Garo Hills, Meghalaya.
    • Design and Development of Banana Pseudo stem cluster, Southwest Garo Hills, Meghalaya with MIG as the implementing partner.
  • Design and Development of Handloom Cluster, Karimganj, Assam with support from District Commissioner office, Karimganj Assam.
  • Design and Development of Pineapple & Turmeric Cluster, Mizoram with VANAPA Society as the Implementing partner.
  • Design and Development of Banana Fibre Cluster, Assam with ICCO as the Implementing partner.
  • Empanelled as Technical Agency under SFURTI scheme of Ministry of Medium Small and Micro Enterprises (MSME), GoI.

  • Advisor to National Institute of Panchayati Raj & rural Development (NIPRD) for holistic and sustainable development of gram panchayats.
  • Advisor to Mendipathar Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MMCS), Meghalaya for capacity building, design and development of clusters in horticulture, food processing, handloom, tailoring & garment making unit and piggery.
  • Advisor to Grameen Sahara (NGO), Assam for development of piggery, Spices, handloom and natural fibre cluster in Chhayagaon, Assam
  • Advisor to SURGE-I Foundation, Assam for development of handicraft & handloom cluster and eco-tourism in Nagaon, Assam
  • Advisor to Mulberry (NGO), Assam for revival, development and operation of the handloom society. Design and development of the handloom cluster, raising resources and financing the women led NGO.
  • Advisor to Infrastructure Development Finance Company Limited, Project Management Consultants to the Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health, Government of India for the development of AYUSH Clusters in 6 states of India

Creating Community/ Entrepreneur Partnerships in an environment where all land is owned by the community.

Assisted in building entrepreneurs from the Village Employment Committees (VEC).

Instrumental in identifying the need, the framework and implementation of a “Rural Technology Park” which is now acting as a learning point for the needs of the rural development and changing the quality of life of the rural areas nearby.

Assisted in building the capacity of the SIRD for opportunity mapping and also capacity building for a “Project Team” for identification and development for a projects in the state.

Assisted in project utilization, design, development, bid documentation and implementation of 1000 acres of waste land identified by the village committee under “Pongamia plantation”.

Assisted in development of Rural warehouse & Eco-tourism centre in the identified village.

Across the state of Meghalaya, recent projects/ interventions by Afro Asian Development Consortium (Afrodev) have resulted directly in the creation of jobs and significant increases in income for people including women of the household.These successes have given many young and educated people their first job and the unprecedented ability to add to and often be the only source of family income. Not only this, but these projects have also resulted in alternate source of income for families.

  • Program Advisor to the Social Fund for Development (SFD), Government of Egypt for nearly a decade. SFD was the largest holistic program for enterprise development and poverty alleviation and globally recognised for its impact on job creation and militancy. SFD continues to be the major intervention to contribute to the employment generation in Egypt. Many governments in the Arab and African region have benefited from/ collaborated with SFD.
  • Principal Advisor, Indo-Arab Economic Forum, Federation of the Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), India from 2006-2009.
  • MOU with Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce, Addis Ababa for development of Indo Ethiopian co-operation program through Joint Venture partnerships for manufacturing sector in Ethiopia Collaborators for Government of Mozambique for development of Local Area and Sectoral Development Programs.
  • MOU between Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Government of Ghana and Afro-Asian Development Consortium for sector led economic growth through development of construction sector in Ghana.
  • Tripartite MOU between Ghana- India Development Consortium (GIDC), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Afro-Asian Development Consortium for development of Joint Ventures between India and Ghana.
  • Advisors to Confederation of Indian Industry(CII) for the Conclave on India – Africa Project Partnerships 2005 held in March 2005 and Conclave on India – Africa Project Partnerships, “Expanding Horizons” held in November 2006.
  • Assisted Agency for Combating Unemployment, Government of Syria for Employment Generation Strategies and Enabling Policies.
